Interest Groups
All members are welcome to take part in any interest group. Non-members may attend three interest group sessions as guests before becoming members. More details about places are to be found in the Periódico. Please contact our Membership Chairman about becoming a member by e-mailing "aauwcabrillodiego 'at' gmail "dot' com in standard e-mail format and put AAUW in the subject line.
Morning Literary Encounter -
An informal group that meets monthly on the fourth Monday of the month at 10:00 a.m. to discuss books of the members' choosing.

Evening Literary Encounter -
An informal group that meets for supper monthly in members' homes on the fourth Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. to discuss books of the members' choosing.

Both the evening and morning group books are listed in the same file, so beginning in November 1982, both books are listed for each month. This file opens in a new browser window, so that when you close the window you will return to this page. You may search for a particular book or author, by clicking on the pair of binoculars in the heading of the page. Then just type in a key word from author's name or book title in the form that appears and click "find." If this finds another book, click the binoculars with a circular arrow until you reach the book you want.

Gourmet Dining -
Groups of four couples get together in private homes four times a year between October and June to share a variety of gourmet menus and fellowship. Participate in a Swedish Christmas dinner, a dinner at the White House, a tapas party, a Groundhog Dinner, a summer picnic. What will your theme be?
Dining Out Group -
Groups of three couples dine out four times a year to sample restaurants listed in the Entertainment Book, sold as fundraiser to support our branch activities.

Moviegoers -
Meets monthly during daytime hours to review movies chosen by the members. How many of this year's Oscar winners did you see?
Bridge Group -
Members play party bridge once a month in private homes.
